Scott Wade H Worley, 42, of Raton, NM passed away on April 2, 2023. Scott was born September 11, 1980 in San Angelo, Texas to Scott Worley and Andra McCarthy. From the age of five, he was raised by Steven G Fairchild. Scott attended Midland Lee High School where he was active in athletics and graduated with the Class of '99. Scott played varsity football with Midland Lee during the 3P championships. He also played varsity baseball. He loved the great outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hiker. Scott went to Midland College obtaining his certificate in ac/heat repair. He went on to obtain a Culinary degree from the Arts Institute in Denver, Colorado. Scott was a partner in Angelo Mini Storage and made many significant contributions to its growth and operation during his tenure.
He is preceded in death by his brother Sterling, his grandparents Richard Worley and Virgie Ayers, his grandparents Buddy and Bea Burleson, and his grandparents Thomas and Kathy Fairchild. He is survived by his parents, his brother Steven and wife Kasey, aunts and uncles Julie Scott, Rick Worley, David and Denise Fairchild, Dale and Pam Whitlock, Robert Fairchild, Shelly Harris, Stephanie Fairchild, his very special friend Lori Dallas Partlow, and numerous nieces and nephews. Scott will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and his dog, McCree.
Funeral services will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX on 4/20/2023 at 2:00 pm. Following the service, a light reception will be held for family and friends at Johnson's Funeral Home.
