Robert A. King, III passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He was born at St. John’s Hospital on October 20, 1948 to Robert A. (Bob) King, Jr. and Katherine (Kay) King. Robert graduated from Central High School in 1967. He attended two years at Angelo State University and proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1969 – 1972 with tours in Vietnam and Germany. Robert worked at the Goodyear Proving Grounds for 22 years. After leaving Goodyear, he worked in the maintenance and construction business. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
