Richard “Dick” Leroy Barnes, 83, of San Angelo went to be with our Lord on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Regency House Nursing Home. Visitation will be held on February 18, 2017 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home- San Angelo, TX. Dick is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Gretta Barnes and Daniel Edwin Barnes. As well as one brother, Toby Barnes and sister in law Vina Barnes. Dick retired from the AirForce. He was an avid golfer as he loved the game. He is survived by his wife, Wandra Barnes. A son, Rusty Barnes, of Denton, TX. A daughter, Barbara Barnes McDonald, of Seguin, TX. Two grandsons, Michael Childs and wife Lecy of Killeen, TX, Shawn Childs and wife Kayla of Seguin, TX and 1 grand daughter, Julie Wells and husband Thomas of Lubbuck, TX. Two great grandchildren Railee Childs and Braxton Wells. As well as one nephew, Vernon Barnes, and one neice, Kelly Barnes.
