Randall Ray Matthews

Visitation, with family present, will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, March 10th at Johnson’s Funeral Home in San Angelo. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 11th at First Baptist Church in Big Lake, TX. with Rev. Byron Bitner officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home

Randy graduated from Reagan County High School and attended Texas Tech University. He was employed by Tessco in Stanton, Texas. Randy was a master electrician.

Randy was preceded in death by his son Timothy Edward Matthews, his father James W. Matthews and a brother Steven Michael Matthews.

Randy is survived by his mother Louise Matthews; two brothers Jimmy Matthews and wife Linda, and Barry Matthews and wife Gina all of Big Lake; sister-in-law Elaine Matthews of Austin; nephews Michael Matthews and wife Natalie of Mertzon and Jason Matthews of Austin; nieces Jill Mitchell and husband Josh and Julie Matthews all of Big Lake, Sara Matthews of Austin, Megan Wells and husband Rance of Amarillo, Lara Matthews and her daughter Charlotte of Marinette, WI.; a special aunt Jay Dobbs and special cousin Allen Morris and wife Michelle and their son, Randy’s favorite, Jerrod; many aunts, uncles, cousins, a special friend Jerry Williams and he had a host of loving family with his friends at Tessco.
