Peggy Ruth Hoover 82, passed away December 28, 2013 in Lubbock Texas.
Peggy was born on March 15, 1931 to Henry and Julia Ditmore in San Angelo, Texas. The Family moved soon after to Dublin, Texas where Peggy would grow up and attend school. Peggy graduated in 1948 from Dublin High School. On May 15, 1949 Peggy Ditmore married the love of her life James Earl Hoover. The couple would be together for 52 years. Peggy worked at Pace Dry Goods and then for J.C. Penny’s for twenty years before retiring.
Mrs. Hoover is preceded in death by her husband James Earl Hoover and her parents Henry and Julie Ditmore.
Peggy is survived by her son Steve Hoover and Wife Laurie; her daughter Debbie Wagner; three grandchildren Savannah Hoover Davis, Alli Hermanns, Wes Wagner; two brothers Kenneth Ditmore, and Jim Ditmore.
A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on December 31, 2013 at Grape Creek Cemetery.
