Nadine Williams, 91, of San Angelo, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 in San Angelo. She was born to the late, Roy Cecil and Maude McDaniel Wright on May 8, 1925 in Eola, Texas. Nadine married Robert D. Williams on February 21, 1947. They were married for 45 years at the time of his passing (March 27, 1992). Nadine worked as a beautician for over 40 years; retiring at the age of 80. She was a member of Lifepointe Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir serving with her love of gospel music. She was known for the countless hours she spent reading her Bible, working crossword puzzles and crafts of all kinds, especially painting. Nadine’s love of life and outgoing spirit will be missed greatly, as she was a friend to all. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Billy Wright and Ronnie Wright.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Williams and Lynn Williams, and his wife, Laurie; grandchildren, Brian and Brandie Williams, Becky and Mike Anderson, Tim Williams, Wade Williams, and Lindsey and Joe Urbanek; great grandchildren, Michaela, Maggie, Corbin, Lauren, Rylee, and Sam; siblings, Marlene Holley and Sherman Wright; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Alexander Minney, Stephanie Bates and the entire staff of Senior Care Center.
There will be a time of visitation held from 6-8PM on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Johnson’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Old Runnels Cemetery.
