Melissa Gloria Cortez

Melissa Cortez, 44, of San Angelo, TX, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017. She was born in San Angelo, TX on November 5, 1972. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Cruz De La Garza; her children, Monica Cortez, Michael Cortez, Modesto Cortez, Alexandra Cortez; and grandchildren, Jeremiah Cortez, and Nevea Cortez. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the chapel of Johnson’s Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Monica Cortez, Jorge Reyes, Jose Martinez, Jr., Adrian Martinez, Johnathan Martinez, Gregory Martinez and Hector Gloria.
