Betty B. Moore

Mrs. Moore was born May 13, 1942 in Asheville, NC, the daughter of the late James Pender Bloodworth and Mrs. Hazel Bloodworth of Wilmington. She was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by her husband in 1997.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter, Traci Moore Bayse and husband Douglas Bayse, Jr. of Wilmington; her sons, Julius Stephen Moore and wife Christine of Boca Raton, FL, James Alan Moore and wife Blair of Blythewood, SC, David Brian Moore and wife Susan of Franklinton, NC; a sister, Mrs. Mary Jim Cooper and husband Dan of Wilmington; six grandchildren, Emily Barcia Moore and Julius Benjamin Moore of Boca Raton, FL, Kylie Elizabeth Moore, Erin Hollis Moore and Emory Suzanne Moore of Columbia, SC and Brooke Taylor Bayse of Wilmington, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2002 in the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, Oleander Chapel, by the Reverend Dr. Robert C. Bankhead and Reverend Walter M. Dinkins. The interment will be in Bethany Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Dan Cooper, Arthur Moore, Bobby Anderson, Butler Anderson, Eric Moon and Bobby Whaley.

The family will receive friends at the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, Oleander Chapel on Monday, May 13, 2002 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and have requested that memorials be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice are Center, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC, 28401.
