Mary Elizabeth Romona McCravy-McCann

September 11, 2011.

Mary was born on April 11, 1962 in Plattsburgh, NY to Geraldine R. and

Col. James B. McCravy. She was the apple of her parents' eyes, and

always the “baby sister” to her brothers Michael and Edward. She

later moved to Texas, where she attended San Marcos Baptist Academy,

raised her beloved son Christopher Ryan, and had a successful career

in retail sales.

Mary was full of zeal, and had a gift of making those around her laugh

to the point of tears. She was an artist with words. Not only did she

entertain many with her colorful stories, but she also wrote beautiful

poetry. She had a passion for music, and was a talented musician as

well.

Mary is survived by her brother Michael McCravy and wife Suzy, of San Angelo; her Uncle, Sam Nance and his wife Scarlett, of San Angelo; her Aunt Carol Speck and her husband Lee, of San Angelo; Numerous special cousins and other loving family members and close friends.

All of Heaven rejoices today as Mary is reunited with her son,

Christopher Ryan McCann, parents James and Geraldine McCravy, brother

Edward McCravy, and sister-in-law Debbie McCravy.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, at 10 a.m. At

the Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel in San Angelo Texas with Rev. Doug Hirt officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. McKavitt Cemetery in Ft. McKavitt, TX.
