
SAN ANGELO Mary Elizabeth Aufderhehie, 93, of San Angelo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at her residence. Viewing will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to receive friends. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Julian Falcon of Word of Life Church officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mary was born April 17, 1920, in McAlester, Okla., to George Washington and Sally Rosalee (Holloway) Beams. She was a domestic engineer and took her job very seriously. It was said that you could eat off of her floors, they were that clean. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a granddaughter, Dixie Thompson. Survivors include her son, James Aufderheide Jr. of San Angelo; daughter Sally Gibson and husband William of Richland Springs, Texas; grandchildren Heather Byrd of San Angelo, Jennifer Jackson of Tacoma, Wash., Christopher Aufderheide, Blake Gibson, both of San Angelo, Dianna Aufderheide of Justin, Texas, Parker Gibson of Richland Springs, Texas; and eight great-grandchildren.
