

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Wall Brethren Church, with the burial at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving visitors Friday from 6-8:00p.m. for visitation at Johnson’s Funeral Home.
He was born on March 11, 1930 to Sam and Frances Ripple Dusek. Marvin married Ruth Malina of Hochheim, Texas on February 24, 1952 at the Shiner Brethren Church. Together they spent 59 loving years of marriage.
Marvin was a Veteran of the Army and was honorably discharged in 1951. He was a lifelong farmer and retired in the year of 2000.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lillie Dusek, daughter Shirley Rebecca Dusek and also by his parents.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Ruth Malina Dusek, two daughters Geri and husband James Polasek of Bryan, TX; Mary Surovik and fiancé Marvin Rowland of Brenham, TX; three sons Darwin and wife Charlotte Dusek, Albert Dusek, and David and wife Leona Dusek, all of Wall, TX
Eleven grandchildren Steven and wife Laura Polasek, Sarah Polasek, Susanna and husband David Banda, all of Bryan, TX, Kevin and wife Carly Dusek, Tracey Dusek, Krystal, Ashley, Brandon, and Ryan Dusek, all of Wall, TX, and Kari and husband Josh Thompson, and Marshall Surovik, all of Brenham, TX.
Four great-grandchildren, Zachary and Lex Dusek of Wall, TX, and Micayla and Madelyn Polasek of Bryan, TX.
Brothers Roy Dusek, Eugene and wife Charlene Dusek, and Wally Dusek of Wall, TX, Billy Ray and wife Lillian Dusek of San Angelo, TX. Sisters Dorothy and husband Ludwig Havlak, Laverne Mikeska and Carlene Mayer, all of San Angelo, TX.
Numerous nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
He was “GRANDPA” to the neighborhood kids. Graham, Rigin and Kash Kelson, Cince Dickey and Joey Breeden.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons and great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Wall Brethren Church Sunday School or the Hus School Encampment care of the Wall Brethren Church.
