Mario G. "Chachi" Rios Jr.

Mario G. “Chachi” Rios, Jr., 31, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 1, 2011 in Coleman County. The Rosary will be 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M, Thursday, October 6, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. David Herrera as celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Mario was born September 22, 1980 in San Angelo, Texas to Mario G. Rios, Sr. and Gloria Nunez Rios. He grew up in San Angelo and attended Central High School. He worked for G.A. Auto Glass. Chachi was a very caring and giving person who was completely devoted to his family and friends. He had a great personality and a wonderful sense of humor and would literally give anyone anything he had if they needed it. Chachi was so full of life and he always created an atmosphere that everyone wanted to be around especially when he was at family gatherings or out with his friends. He loved playing pool and pitching washers for fun. Our beloved Chachi was a wonderful young man and his love, warmth and kindness will be greatly missed will forever be in our hearts. He will live in our memories forever. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Alicia Rios, and his father Mario G. Rios, Sr. Chachi is survived by his mother, Gloria Rios, of San Angelo; his Brother Michael Rios and his wife, Sonia, of San Angelo; his Grandfather, Guadalupe Rios, of San Angelo; his Grandmother, Hortencia Ledesma, of San Angelo; his nieces, Ashley, Lauren and Ebony Rios, all of San Angelo; and numerous Aunts and Uncles and many special friends. Pallbearers for the service will be Bob and Ralph Rangel, Mandy and Tillie Villarreal, John Abel Nunez, Jose L. Rios Jr.
