Marie Fernandez Hernandez

Marie Fernandez Hernandez of San Angelo, went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. There will be a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Javier Fernandez of Centro De Fe Cristiano Church officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.

Marie was preceded in death by her father Jose Fernandez, Sr., mother Socorro Fernandez, uncle Anastacio Fernandez, and aunt Juanita Fernandez. Marie is survived by her daughter and son Melissa Marie Navarro and Ricky Navarro; grandchildren Mickayla and Christian Navarro; and a very special friend, Jesus (Chuy) Martinez. Brothers are Pastor Javier and wife Delia Fernandez, Jose Jr. and wife, Rosalinda Fernandez, Jesse and wife, Bernice Fernandez and Noe Fernandez, all of San Angelo. Sisters are Margaret and husband Robert Moreno of San Angelo, Estella and husband Danny Martinez of Austin, TX, and Teresa and husband Alex Rivera of San Angelo. Marie also had many nephews and nieces who hold her close to their hearts.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Moreno, Jesse Fernandez, Jr., Daniel Martinez, Jr., Joshua Martinez, Matthew Martinez, and Josiah Fernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews Joel Fernandez, Joe Fernandez, Jr., Alex Rivera, Jr., Moses Fernandez, Jacob Fernandez, and Aaron Moreno.

Marie was a life long active member of Centro De Fe Cristiano Church of San Angelo, Texas.

We would like to give a special thank you to all of the doctors and nurses at Seton Medical Center of Austin, Texas who cared for Marie. Also, we would like to give a special thank you to Patsy Fernandez for being like a sister to Marie.
