Margie Gregg

Margie Gregg, 89, of San Angelo passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her home. She was born August 25, 1922 in Veribest to Millard and Edna Crook. She married Jack Gregg August 10, 1947 in San Angelo where they remained until he preceded her in death in 2005. She was a long time employee of General Telephone Company and a charter member of Sierra Vista United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons: Kyle Gregg and wife Patti of San Angelo, and Dennis Gregg and wife Shelley of San Angelo; four grandchildren: Lori Smith and husband Steven of San Angelo, Jason Gregg and wife Joanna of Beaumont, Aaron Gregg and wife Ashlee of Houston, and Lisa Martin and husband James of San Angelo; two great-grandsons: Daniel Stanford Smith of San Angelo, and Jack Everett Gregg of Beaumont; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Odyssey Hospice for their loving care and support.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 23, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church with burial following at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
