He was born Nov. 6, 1935, in San Angelo, Texas. He was a retired machinist-tool and die maker.
Doug grew up in Pilot Point, Texas.
He loved sports and excelled in football as a linebacker and fullback.
He will be missed by his many friends. Doug is survived by his daughter, Brandy Boswell and granddaughter, Sydney of Austin, Texas;
and sisters Fran Sentell of San Angelo and Bonnie (Cayanne) Boswell of Lake Bay, Washington.
He is also survived by beloved cousins Christell Sealey, Billy Jack and Leslie Ann Sealey, Michelle and David Jeter.
Preceding him in death were parents Douglas Wilson Boswell and Jewel McLemore Snow; and grandparents Robert Lee and Lydia (Cole) Boswell,
Matthew and Rosa McLemore. Doug requested that his ashes be scattered on the Gulf, so his family and friends plan to gather in the near future at Galveston Beach to give him a joyful sendoff.
