Lula D. Rogers passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the age of 86. Lula Jane was born to parents John Robert and Lillian Mabel Dunderdale on June 24, 1929 in Houston, Texas. She was the youngest of 8 children and attended Galena Park High School in Houston. Lula received her degree in Education from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She moved to San Angelo in 1971 where she taught Special Education until her retirement. She was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school classes and sang with the Melody Makers. Her parents and seven siblings preceded her in death. She is survived by her four children, John Wolfe and wife, Joy, Brian Glen Wolfe and wife, Cathy, Cindy Baker and husband, Devery, Sandra Rosser and husband, Lynn; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
