Luisa Nistal Cannon, 70, of San Angelo, passed away peacefully at home on January 26, 2018, with her loving husband by her side. She was born to Francisco and Silveria Loong Nistal on October 10, 1947, in Panglao, Bohol Philippines. In July of 1990, she married the love of her life, Joe Cannon. She was known for her Malunggay Trees, which she used to cook with often. Joe says “My Precious had a great love for her family members, and a love for me that dominated every day. She was the greatest blessing God could ever give to me. My love for her is forever – the same as she often told me was hers. Her family gives their love to me in like manner, and I have become a blessed member. My forever message to my Precious is now: Fly away my little bird, fly away, I will find you again someday, some way.” Luisa is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Mary Nistal. She is survived by her husband, Joe cannon; brothers, Joventino Nistal and Venancio Nistal; Nephews, Jofel Nistal, Edwin Nistal, and Joey Nistal; Nieces, Estela Dinampo, Rosalie Lungat, Joanne Gabigquez, and Joyce Nistal, as well as Special friends, Lyle and Connie Daniel of San Angelo, and Ralph and Cora Tatum of Rockport, Texas.
