Kenny Sanders (Kenneth Edward Sanders, Jr.), age 60, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, October 16th, after a courageous battle with ALS. Kenny was born on January 18, 1961, in San Angelo, Texas to Kenneth and Lois Sanders. He married the love of his life, Duffy Martin Sanders, on November 17, 1984. That same year, he started his own successful painting business, Sanders Paint and Drywall, and maintained it up until his health failed. Together, they had three children, Kaylie, Karly, and Haley. Kenny was a devoted father, husband, son, and especially Papa. He loved fiercely, gave from his heart, spread joy with his humor, and was the epitome of a provider and protector. He is survived by his wife, daughters Kaylie Levandowski and husband Brian Levandowski, Karly Cantu and husband Ben Cantu, and Haley Sanders. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Kenneth Slade, Anniston, Lawson, and Bowen Levandowski, and Benjamin, Miles, and Grant Cantu, his mother, Lois Sanders, siblings Tom Sanders, Lisa Stadelman, Clay Sanders, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his sister, Terry Sanders, and father, Kenneth Sanders, Sr. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life at Glen Meadows Baptist Church on Thursday, October 21st, 2021 at 11 a.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the ALS Foundation.
