Edna Kathleen McDonald Ford left this earth and entered heaven on Monday, January 11, 2021. Kathleen was born July 15, 1927 to Sam and Lettie McDonald in Norton, Texas. She married the love of her life, Clovis Ford, in 1942 and they moved to San Angelo in 1948. They were blessed with two daughters and one son.
Kathy was a faithful servant of the Lord and was a charter member of her church, Belmore Baptist Church. She was pillar of the church and an example to, and an influence on, many lives during her sixty five dedicated years there. She was a devoted wife and loving mother to her children throughout her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but now she rests in the loving arms of her Lord Jesus Christ.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clovis; sisters, Laverne Watkins, Dorothy Bryant, and Pansy Mackey; brothers, Jack McDonald, Charlie McDonald, and Thurman McDonald. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Thomas of San Angelo, and Carol Fraley of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, son, Kerry Ford and wife Sheron of Gallatin, Tennessee; sister Pat Sims of Waco; grandsons, Brian Thomas, Kevin Thomas and wife Kim, Mark Fraley and wife Karen, and Grant Ford; great grandchildren, Brian D, Katie, Dalton, Logan, Kassidy, and Kash, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel in San Angelo with burial at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Sagecrest Care Center or Belmore Baptist Church in San Angelo, Texas.
