Karina Yvonne Hernandez was born in Lubbock, TX on August 4, 1989. She passed on July 10, 2023 in North Carolina. She is survived by Daniel Hernandez (spouse), Adrian (son), Alize (daughter), Jasmine (sister), Hayley (sister), Norma (mother), and Alvaro (father).
Karina was a radiant butterfly to behold with her unconditional love and vibrant smile. Her inner strife translated into energy, lighting up a room with warmth and untethered intensity; like a moth to a flame, we were drawn to her. Although, she was taken to a better place so abruptly, her loved ones and those she touched will always keep her light shining.
Many knew Karina as the life of the party, the crazy cousin who kept us on our toes and laughing, and while she was that she was also fiercely loyal, incredibly resilient, and extremely determined. She was a bright light in our lives. Her energy was infectious. All of our fun times will always be a vivid memory in our hearts.
Karina will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends. Family was everything to her, she would be there in a heartbeat for anything that involved her close loved ones and of course fun and adventures. She never judged anyone, lived in the moment and was already ready for more.
