Kaiden "Kj" Jamel Sanders

Kaiden Jamel “KJ” Sanders, 10, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. He was born on March 4, 2012 in San Angelo, TX to Brianna Sanders (Birth Mother) and his Nonnie and Papa. KJ attended Holiman Elementary and was going into the 5th grade. He was a proud member of House of Faith, the Big Dawgs, Holiman Backyard Bible Club and had a passion for football, basketball and Jesus! KJ will always be remembered for his big smile, his laughter, always bringing joy to others and always playing jokes on everyone, as well as his love of sports, playing video games, watching youtube and especially all thing WWE Wrestling and wrestlers. KJ was preceded in death by his Aunt Kea Latrice Miller, his Great Grandfather William James Gilliland, Great Grandmother Helen Patterson Jones, Great-Great Grandmother Frances Irene Patterson, Great-Great Grandmother Maebelle Johnson and Great Grandparents Margaret and Ed Norris. Those left to cherish his memory are his custodial parents/ grandparents/ guardians Mr. and Mrs. Bufus and Melissa Lynn Cannon of San Angelo; his birth mother Brianna Simone Sanders of San Angelo; his big brother Keon Latrell Sanders of San Angelo who he admired, looked up to and loved very much; his maternal grandfather Kary D. Sanders of San Angelo; paternal grandmother Denise Williams of San Angelo; his great grandmother Edna Johnson and great grandfather Bufus Cannon, Sr. (His very special Papa Bubba) of San Angelo; his aunt Tiera D. Bamberg, uncle Justin Ball and cousins Dominic and Elliana Jo Ball of Lewisville, TX; his aunt Brandy Sanders Belk of Wichita Falls, TX and cousins Naomi and Tiana Belk, uncle Michael Sanders of England and cousin Oakley Sanders, uncle Kenton and Naomi Sanders of England, and cousins Faith and Isaiah Sanders, aunt Alexis Sanders of San Angelo and aunt Kara Sanders of Round Rock, TX, and numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins and all his special friends including Blake, Auji, Teagen and Donavin. A visitation will be held from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A celebration of KJ’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the chapel of Johnson’s Funeral Home with interment to follow in Belvedere Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Elvis “Uncle Bull” Johnson, Courtney Medrano, Eddie Medrano, James Cannon, Joshua Cannon and Lawrence “Bird” Jones. Honorary Pallbearer will be Keon Sanders. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Johnson’s Funeral Home for his services.
