BIG LAKE-- Funeral Services for Julia Teran Jacobo 90, will be at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Big Lake with Fa. Prem officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 13, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Roca Eterna Church, 312 1st Street in Big Lake. Pallbearers are Marcos Jacobo, Gabriel Jacobo, A.J. Gonzales, Jacob Amador, Mark Amador and Abraham Gonzales. Burial will be at Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake.

Mrs. Jacobo passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 in Big Lake. She was born to Martin and Paula Teran on July 31, 1924 in San Carlos, Mexico. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Simon G. Jacobo Sr.; her parents, granddaughter, Erica Muro: great grandson, Xavier Joel Gonzales; Sisters, Carmela Garza and Juanita Cienega and brothers, Pedro and Polo Teran.

Survivors include her children, Joe Jacobo and wife Hortencia; Maria Jacobo, Juan Jacobo and wife Lupe and Simon Jacobo Jr.; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; Brothers, Alfredo Teran, Martin Teran and Francisco Teran; Sisters, Maria Garcia and Margarita Trevino; and as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
