Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 3rd in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.
Joseph was born December 1, 1919 in Grandview, Texas to Joseph Powell and Lillie Ida (Collins) Bowles .
Joseph was married to Jean Davidson on October 11, 1941 in Ballinger, TX. She preceded him in death on May 22, 2007.
Upon his discharged from the US Army Aircorp in 1945, they moved to Crosbyton, TX. to operate the Collins Jewelry Store. In May 1971 he opened his own jewelry and watch repair business, Shop of the Concho, in San Angelo. He was a member of Community Hills Christian Church.
Survivors include brother-in-law Richard Davidson of Garland; sister-in-law Edith Bowles of Dexter, NM; niece Sheila Bowles and nephew Robert Bowles and wife Lenora.
