JoAnn was born on March 25, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri and was an only child. She married her first and only love, Jack Lancaster, in 1946. The majority of their lives were dedicated to the prison ministry. They would travel between several different prisons spreading the word of God. JoAnn would spend many hours writing and responding to the numerous letters that she would receive from the inmates. She had a passion for gardening and flowers and often could be found outdoors tending to her flower beds or watching “her birds.”
She will be deeply and explicitly missed by all.
We love you, Grandma.
