Proceeding Jackie in death was her husband of 51 years, Helvin Glenn Hohertz, and son, Timothy Hohertz.
She leaves behind her eldest daughter, Brenda Hohertz Hardy & husband Ron Hardy Jr, grandson, Jeffrey Hardy & wife Kelbi Hardy, and great granddaughter, Kaiclyn Hardy, grandson, Jason Hardy & wife Kanya Hardy, and great grandson, Jason Hardy Jr.; (Tim’s son) grandson, Andrew Hohertz; daughter, Tammy Hohertz, grandchildren, Brandy Gill and Aaron Gill; youngest daughter, Julie Hohertz & husband, Daniel Covey, grandchildren, Jeremy, Oakley, and Austin Karpiscak.
Jackie was born in Comanche Oklahoma on March 20, 1942 to Delbert Lanham and Mildred Wilkerson. She was raised by Lois and Hugh Wilkerson. All four proceeded Jackie in death.
Jackie was a beautiful soul. She was an honored basketball player in her youth, loved country music, the outdoors, and playing games like Bingo in her later years. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly, along with many other children she cared for throughout her years. A longtime member of the Worldwide Church of God and devout Christian, she had a kind giving hand for anyone who needed it. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Viewing for Jackie will be Friday from 6 to 8 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 3 PM also at Johnson's Funeral Home San Angelo Texas.
