Helen Louise Dyson, age 88, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Sunday August 19, 2018. Helen was born January 14, 1930 in Laredo, Texas to David and Helen Garrett. Helen later married Bernard M. Dyson in 1949, they were happily married until his passing in February of 2004. She attended the Church of Christ and thoroughly enjoyed birds and gardening. Helen is survived by her sister, Rose Conner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; brother-in-law, Curtis Edward Ragan, and brothers, Eugene and John Garrett. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Point Enterprise Cemetery near Mexia, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to 9th&Main Church of Christ, An animal shelter of your choice, or to cancer research.
