George Washington Cobb

Funeral services for George W. Cobb, Jr. of San Angelo will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10:00 am at Miracle Temple Church of God on Christ 1721Ellis Street San Angelo, Texas. He passed away August 13, 2015 at the age of 65. George was born December 9, 1949 in Hillsboro, Texas to Ella K. Henley and George Cobb, Sr. They both preceded him in death. He worked for Goodyear Tire Company as a Retread Tire Machine Operator for 20 years, Dallas Market Hall Center for 20 years as a Maintenance Supervisor and Walmart as Head of Maintenance until his health failed. He is survived by his wife Watzene Cobb of San Angelo; his sons Gregory Cobb and Gerald ( Nina) Cobb both of Dallas; step son Robert (Tabitha) of Houston; one brother William Cobb of San Angelo; two sisters Verna Allen(Jackie) of San Angelo, Lily Jackson (Walter) of Greenville; one aunt Emma Johnson of San Angelo, four grandchildren, cousins; and he was well loved by many nieces,nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
