Felix Rodriguez Hinojos went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 30, 2021. He died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loved ones. He was born to Beatrice R. Hinojos and Rosendo G. Hinojos on October 10, 1953. He is survived by his loving wife of forty years Evelina (Morales) Hinojos. Felix attended Central High School and Angelo State University, and he went on to serve in the United States Air Force. He was an entrepreneur and the owner of City Insurance for thirty-eight years with his wife. Felix was kind, energetic, compassionate, and he never met a stranger. In his spare time, he loved watching his Dallas Cowboys and the History Channel. He enjoyed science fiction and playing the guitar. Felix was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. His memory will be cherished by his beloved daughter Heather (Mark) Franklin of Fort Worth. He will always be remembered as a proud “Buelo” to his grandsons Harrison and John. His mother Beatrice, his sister Sylvia Hinojos, and niece Hillary Molinar will remember him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father. Pallbearers are Manuel Hinojos, David Hinojos, John Paul Garcia, Alan Morales, Pablo Roberto Morales and Israel Reyes. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Godines, Javier Lopez, Abe Martinez, Jesus Casarez, Tim Hinojos and Robert Rodriguez of California. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
