Eva was a friend to all; always ready to help her family, her church and others in the community. Our mother was raised to always help others in need. While growing up she helped her own mother raise her siblings. She was very instrumental in assuring that all her children graduated from high school. Mother was only able to complete seven years of education and she was determined that her children would get more formal education than she did. We love our mother dearly and will always miss her.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you and whispered “Come with Me”.
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away.
Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A “Heart of Gold” stopped beating, working hands put to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us that he took back one of his best.
The family wishes to thank the Shannon ICU staff, Mark, Elva and Bertha and the 4th floor Step Down Unit nurses for the care given to our Mother.
