Enrique Perez (Henry) fought a long courageous battle with cancer; Multiple Myeloma. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday March 26, 2013. He was born To Fortino and Felicita Perez on January 3, 1951 in San Angelo, Texas. He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1970. He later joined the United States Air Force and served 4 years active duty and 2 years in the reserve as a Runway Repair Technician. After his military service he then started his career with the City of San Angelo Parks Department. During his 25 years of Service to The Parks Department he obtained the title of Supervisor. He retired in 2001 to spend more time with his two loves; his Wife and his gardens. He married his soul mate Delia On September 1, 2000, where they were married for 12 years, before he lost his Battle with Cancer.
He is survived by his Wife Delia Perez, His Mother Felicita Perez, His Daughter Christina Vasquez, Sons Henry N. Perez Jr., and Conrad Perez, Daughters Stephanie Marino, and Crystal Perez. Stepdaughters Crystal Aguilar and spouse Greg Aguilar Jr., Jennifer Torres and Jessica Torres. Grandchildren Julius and Cierra Aguilar, Elynna Davis, Jr and Aaliyah Holder, and Adrianna Vasquez. His Brother Fortino Perez Jr., Sisters Rosita , Guadalupe Biera, Amelia Gonzales, Susan Baker, Sandra Larracuente and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his Father Fortino Perez, Brothers Marino Perez, Jose Perez and Granddaughters Faye Valentine Davis and Desiree Marie Holder.
Celebration of his life to begin on Easter Sunday with Rosary at 7:00 pm in Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be on Monday April 1, 2013 at 10:00 at St. Joseph’s Church by Father Emilo Sosa affricating with internment immediately following at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers: J.R. Ramirez, Greg Balli, Micheal Gonzales, Jason Gonzales, Mike Hernandez, Jesse Capuchina. Honorary Pallbearers: Ben Esquivel, Greg Aguilar, Frank Flores, and David Rodriguez.
We would like to give thanks to Hospice of San Angelo, Dr. Ty Hughston, the whole Oncology Department at Shannon Clinic and his Coffee buddies at the Econo Lodge.
