Ellen May (Rose) Glenn, age 92, passed away in Gun Barrel City, Texas on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Ellen was born September 9, 1929 in Palacios, Texas. She resided in Gun Barrel City with her daughter.
Ellen married Johnny Homer Glenn on April 24, 1949. They had 4 children, Lena, and her husband, Royce Roberts of Mullin, Texas, John Ivan Glenn of Galveston, Texas, Delores Glenn and Ronnie Dorsett of Gun Barrel City, Texas, and Billy Jack Glenn of Bengal, Oklahoma. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great grandson, a sister, Alice and her husband, Tilman Staggs and a brother, Bobby Jack Rose, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Homer Glenn and her parents, Ivan and Silvia Rose.
A visitation for Ellen will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 W Beauregard Ave, San Angelo, Texas 76903. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home.
Ellen will be laid to rest in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, TX 76905.
