Ed attended Shamokin High School and graduated in the class of 1980. After high school, Ed enlisted in the US Air Force. During his time in the Air Force, Ed earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Ashwood College. He was stationed at Ramstein, Nellis, and Goodfellow Air Force Bases throughout his career and retired as Master Sergeant after 20 years of honorable service.
Ed married the love of his life, Kimberly, on August 24, 1984 and together they had 3 children.
Ed was a proud member of the San Angelo Gun Club and had a passion for the outdoors and creating with his hands. He even wrote a book titled "From An Uncaring Airman To A Motivational NCO In Today's Air Force." He also loved to play his trumpet. Ed volunteered his time and experience at Angelo State University where he participated with the Jazz band, as well as many other bands. He also volunteered on the base after retirement.
Ed will be remembered for his compassion and love for everyone he met; especially his family. He had the best sense of humor and could make anyone laugh!
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Leonard Hull; his son, Jeremiah Matthew Hull, and his brother, Lenny Hull, Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Kimberly Hull; his daughters, Elizabeth Hull-Morales and Brandy Hull-Bevly; his brothers, Ron and Bill Hull, and his grandson, William Cade Bevly who was his absolute best buddy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, whom he loved immensely.
Honorary pallbearers include Chuck Hardgrave and Andrew Marshall.
A celebration of life for Edward will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Western Sky Steakhouse, 2024 North Chadbourne Street, San Angelo, Texas.
The inurnment will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, November 8th at Abilene State Veterans Cemetery with full military detail.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Kimberly Hull, 2706 Regent Blvd. San Angelo, Texas 76905.
