Danny Lee Kuykendall

Danny Lee Kuykendall, 69, of Carlsbad, TX, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was born on May 6, 1953 in San Antonio, TX to Lonnie C Kuykendall and Nancy McCray. Danny attended Irion County High School and graduated in the class of 1973. Danny (Kirk) was a loving father, grandfather, and everyone’s friend. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. You could always catch Danny working on a project, fishing, or hunting with his son. He was an easygoing man with a caring heart.

Danny was preceded in death by Lonnie C Kuykendall (father) and Lonnie Weldon Kuykendall (nephew). He is survived by Nancy McCray (mother), Dewayne R Kuykendall (brother), Charlet Schaule and her husband Robert, Susan Wade and her husband Wes, Shane Kuykendall (son) and his wife Natalie, Riley Nicole Kuykendall (granddaughter), Landon Schaule (nephew), Laura Schaule Phariss (niece), Jason Wade (nephew), & Jessica Riojas (niece). Remembrance services will be held on Monday October 10th at 10 am at Johnson’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to any animal shelter.
