Connie Lynn Levario, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, surrounded by family and leaving behind a lifetime of laughter, love, and just the right amount of mischief. Born on November 19, 1959, in Lamar, Colorado, to Donald Lee Coleman and Lena Virginia Horn, Connie made it her life’s mission to spread joy and keep everyone on their toes.
A graduate of Reagan County High School, Connie found her calling working as a Special Education Teacher’s Aide at Reagan County ISD, where her big heart and quick wit made a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues. She was never one to shy away from lending a helping hand, whether as a member of the Dove Creek Volunteer Fire Department or through her involvement with Friends of the SCV and the Church of Pentecost.
Connie’s passions were as wide as her smile. Whether it was casting a line while fishing, sewing something special, or spending time with her beloved family, she always managed to turn ordinary moments into unforgettable memories.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Luis Levario, who she kept on his toes since the day they met. Connie is also survived by her four children: Ronnie Brigman and wife, Dina; Shera Forhan; Beau Ridge and wife, Audrey; and Jack Ridge and wife, Krystal. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren: Mason and Diego Brigman, Emily Glover and husband, Dalton; Kohlton Ridge, Gianna, Mark, and Gwendolyn Forhan, as well as one great-grandchild, Oaklyn Glover. Connie is also survived by her sisters, Bonnie Whitehead and Paula Smith and husband, Glen, and her two nephews: Dewayne Whitehead and wife, Randi; and William Whitehead and wife, Haley.
Connie’s life was a testament to love, humor, and a little bit of mischief—traits she proudly passed on to her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her generous heart, and the way she could make any situation just a little more fun.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at the Dove Creek Volunteer Fire Department (11191 Northcross Lane, San Angelo, TX 76904). In lieu of a traditional funeral, the family asks that you join them in sharing stories, laughter, and love as they honor Connie’s incredible life.
Flowers may be sent to Johnson’s Funeral Home (435 West Beauregard Ave, San Angelo, TX 76903), and memorial donations can be made in Connie’s name to the Dove Creek Volunteer Fire Department at http://www.dovecreekvfd.org/donate-here.html.
