Carmen Guadarrama Alfaro, mother to Enrique, Orlando, and Laura, passed away on March 26, 2024, after a long heroic battle with health issues. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in San Angelo, Texas, surrounded by family and close friends.
Born on July 15, 1945, in Cd. Acuna, Mexico, to Celestino Guadarrama and Carmen Flores Guadarrama; she eventually married Pedro Enrique Alfaro, had three beautiful children, and moved to San Angelo, Texas, with all her family and possessions in a single car. Over the years, she worked tirelessly to build a life of opportunity for her family, owning her own business and investing in real estate, a legacy she leaves behind for her children.
Known for her relentless work ethic, infectious smile, and overwhelming generosity, Carmen was loved by everyone who had the privilege of meeting her. She loved life, family, a casino from time to time, and of course, shopping, though mostly for the joy of buying something for others. Her support and love for her family and friends was truly unconditional. She was the gravity that held her family together and will be
sorely missed. She is survived by her husband, Santiago Patino, and her three children, Enrique Alfaro, Laura Alfaro, and Orlando Alfaro.
Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Enrique “Quique” Alfaro; father, Celestino Guadarrama; mother, Carmen Flores Guadarrama; and brothers, Jose Celestino Guadarrama and Guillermo Guadarrama.
Left to cherish Carmen's memory are her husband, Santiago Patino; children, Enrique “Ricky” Alfaro and wife Tanya Alfaro, and Orlando Alfaro, and Laura Ivon Lutz and husband Chris Lutz; grandchildren, Britt’ny CAlfaro/La Mas Bonita, Jaylen Alfaro, Christopher Alfaro, Zachary Alfaro, Madison Alfaro, and Tyler Enrique Lutz; great-grandchildren, Sinai Alfaro, Orlando Alfaro, Patrick Jack Alfaro, and Jace Parker
