Today hurts my heart knowing you’re not here. Every year on this day I wish there was something I could’ve done to prevent you from getting that sick. Today my family and I celebrate you and every year we go eat Italian because we know that’s your favorite. Here’s a life update since I haven’t talked to you in a while. 
-I’m a junior in high school 
-I’m about to turn 17 and in SC im a legal adult 
-I switched club teams 
-I found the college I want to go to Jacksonville State University for soccer 
-I still take pictures of the sunsets and sunrises because I know you made them pretty for me 
No matter how good life is I just wish you were here to enjoy it with me. I love you MeMaw

Hey memaw, I made the varsity team at my new school for soccer obviously. I did really really good in tryouts and it’s weird because I feel confident now and i’m not as shy as I used to be. I’ve gotten really good like really good. 
I went to a Bob Jones University camp this past Saturday and I killed it like crushed it I did so good. It was raining and we both know I play the best in the rain. Bob Jones emailed me today offering me a spot on their team. I don’t want to go there though just because it doesn’t feel like the right fit. It’s okay though I have time. 
I have a 91 in honors Chemistry right now, so my grades are fantastic it’s just really hard tbh. 
Anyways I miss you so much, thank you for painting the sky pretty last night for me. I love you.

Hey Memaw, it’s Kyleigh again haha. Just got my 6th email from colleges wanting me to play soccer for them. I wish you were here to see me play, i’ve gotten so much better. I can actually do a high dive without whining about how bad it hurts. 
Tomorrow is Novas 3rd birthday, you would have loved her she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me, I know you sent her to me so i’m very grateful.

Hey memaw it’s kyleigh your granddaughter again. I went to a college combine for soccer on Monday and I did amazing, I even got emails from D3 schools wanting me to go to their camps, I also had big D1 schools want to talk to me. Everything with soccer has been really good, I miss you so much. 

You painted the sky pretty today, it’s purple your favorite color, it reminded me a lot of you and I had a really rough day so thank you for doing that. I love you so much and hopefully I will see you soon.

Another Christmas without you, I miss you so much every single day and holidays aren’t the same anymore. You always knew how to cheer me up when I was sad, and i’m really needing your support right now. I think I want to move back to Texas so I can be closer to Lilly and Pawpaw as long as I can. Jerry had a kid with Carrie her name is Ashlyn, and Danah had another kid named Claire. We all miss you so much. I love you memaw!

I just want you to be here seeing me grow up and play soccer and just being here with me to support me with everything because im struggling bad without you. Hopefully heaven is good because you deserve everything good
