Brandon Mitchell Cole, 39, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on May 25th, 2023. He was born to Lori Cole and Daniel Cole on February 21, 1986, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Brandon is survived by his children, Aidon and Celes Cole, his Sister, Lindsay Cole, and his Niece, Terra Cole, as well as several relatives and friends.
Brandon lived most of his life in San Angelo. He was an immensely proud Father, a loyal friend, and was well known around San Angelo as someone who was outgoing, charismatic, and wasn’t afraid to share his smile with anyone he met. Brandon loved people, and he connected with many, many lives during the tragically short time he had with us.
He had a signature, distinct sense of fashion, and was particularly proud of his Sailor Moon T-shirt collection. Rarely was Brandon seen without a hat and sunglasses and a beaming smile. He was a lifelong, avid skateboarder. To say that Brandon loved skating would be an understatement. Brandon was skateboarding. He was the embodiment of it. The essence of freedom that the board offered, the pride in the skill with which he would perform tricks, the satisfaction of knowing he’d improved and grown after a day spent skating until sunset with some of the many friends whose hearts he’d claimed, or maybe with just one, single friend that he had a particularly deep connection with. Brandon was capable of a deep camaraderie with those close to him. He was a listener when you were troubled. He would give advice if you wanted, or just give you the space to vent. He never had a problem just hanging out talking about everything and nothing.
While goodbye is difficult, remembering is not. We will always remember Brandon Cole for the best qualities he showed us and know in our hearts that he is truly at peace now. You will be missed.
