Beverly Ann Spear

Beverly Ann Spear, 78, a resident of San Angelo since 1969, died Friday, August 19, 2011. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with J.T. Tucker officiating.

She was born March 19, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Hirsch High School in Chicago, and attended Miami University (Ohio). She also attended Dyke and Spencerian Business College in Cleveland, Ohio. She pursued a career as an executive secretary for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father Mr. and Mrs. Holger B. Bentsen, also her husband Charles K. (Chuck) Spear who passed away March 12, 1983.

Survivors include one brother Dr. William B. Bentsen; daughters Lynn Valadez and Lori Tubbs; five grandchildren Lynyrd Stogner, Crystal Boyce, Sandra Vidrene, Camrin Valadez, and Arrin Valadez, and 9 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank VistaCare Hospice and J.T. Tucker for all that they have done, and would also like to thank Beverly’s special friend B.J. Crawford.
