Albert Lee Williams

Albert Lee Williams, 84, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 in a local hospital. Visitation will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

Albert was born December 19, 1926 to J.E. and Ettie Lee (May) Williams in Idalou, TX.

Albert married the love of his life Leila Mae Johnson on June 5, 1982 in San Angelo, TX.

Albert proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years where he retired as a Lieutenant. Albert also retired as an electrician for SAISD after 11 years. After retirement Albert and Leila traveled all four corners of the United States plus Europe.

Albert is preceded in death by his daughter Carla, step son Larry, and step daughter Lorna

Albert is survived by his wife Leila of San Angelo, step-son Steve Dougherty, brother James Williams of Colorado, and four grandchildren; Francis, Mindy, Ettie Fae, and Kip who was very special to him.
