Suzanne Larsen, 38, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 23, in Salt Lake City. She was the oldest of two daughters of Jim and Sandi Larsen.
Suzi was an extremely bright, talented, artistic and creative young woman. She graduated from the University of Utah in accounting and then went on to get a Juris Doctorate degree and an MBA. She was also certified as a CPA.
Suzi worked at WesTech Engineering in the accounting department while attending school. After graduation she began work at Price Coopers (then Coopers & Lybrand), then joined the law firm of Parsons, Behle & Latimer. Subsequently she became in-house counsel for Campus Pipeline, and finally in-house counsel at Landesk Software.
Four years ago she contracted a condition of the autonomic nervous system which limited her ability to perform many tasks and ultimately led to her heart failure. She is survived by her parents James and Sandra Larsen, her sister Michelle Candelaria (Corey), her nieces Abby and Dylan Candelaria, and her faithful dog Nikki.
