Ruth Lynn Archer

June 13, 1941 – February 7, 2016

Ruth Lynn Archer passed away early morning on February 7, 2016. “Lynn” was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to David G. Archer III and Ruth E. Shurtliff Archer. She attended Granite High School, graduated from Olympus High School. She also attended the U of U. She never married, therefore became the sweetest Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She loved them dearly. She worked at the U of U Oncology department until she retired. Lynn loved to travel, especially out of the country. She also had a special place in her heart for Disney. To occupy her time she was an avid reader and did family history work. Her hobbies were being a professional knitter and crocheted. Lynn served in the Relief Society for the LDS church. She is survived by her brothers David G. Archer (Kaye), John B. Archer (Shirley), R. Scott Archer (Beverly), and her sister Christine K. Archer Goering (Steve). We will truly miss our beloved sister. She has requested graveside services, February 13, 2016 at 12:00PM. Family and friends are welcomed to say their condolences one hour before the service.
