Raymond Lee Clark was born January 12, 1934 in Leamington, Utah to Roy B. Clark and Thelma Rutherford Clark. Married Rita Fae Childs October 15th, 1960. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 20th, 2021. Graduated from Lincoln High School, Orem Utah. Later attended the University of Utah. He was a Seabee in the Navy’s Construction Battalion for several years and traveled the world. He later was a foreman for Wasatch Electric for 25 years. Later worked for Salt Lake City as an electrician. He was a strong member of the union serving them for 40 years as a foreman and has been admired and loved by his union brothers and sisters.
He was a great loving father, grandfather, and friend. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many weekends spending time with his family, fishing, and golfing. He was dedicated to his family and always helping others. He enjoyed spending summers with his wife and friends in Star Valley. He loved his home in Hurricane, Utah and his “Kitty”.
Survived by wife, Rita; sister AnnaDee, children, Scott Clark and RaeLyn Evans (Mark); eleven grandchildren, Tracey (Tim), Nathan, Angela (Heath), Dedee, Fallan (Jesse), SieAnna, Skyler (Brie), Chase, Cassandra, Jacob (Rachel), and Jennifer (Brad). Proceeded in death by Roy and Thelma Clark, parents; children Christine and Gregory, great grandchild, Damon.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 23, 2021, at 11:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Memorial, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah. Viewing will be held from 9:30- 10:30 a.m. There will be a family prayer before the funeral. Burial will be at the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
