Peggy Kajiyama passed away at the age of 68 on April 30, 2022 in Addison, Illinois while traveling with family. Peggy was born on November 23, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to parents Kimiko Endo and Shigeki Bill Kajiyama. Peggy graduated from West High School in 1971. Peggy married Scott Pearson on February 16.
Peggy was a woman full of life. She loved traveling and making memories. She was always ready to initiate new adventures with family and friends. She was the best mother, grandmother, and friend. She welcomed everyone as family and left a lasting impression on many lives. She will be greatly missed.
Peggy is survived by her 3 children: Brandy (Jeremy) Smith, Travis Pearson, and Nathen (Sandra) Pearson; her siblings Kenny Kajiyama, Nancy (Randy) Pearson, Bobby Kajiyama, and Debbie (Gil) Trujillo; and 4 grandchildren. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bill Kajiyama.
Mom has gained her wings, and is on to her next adventure. We love you. Until we meet again.
Services will be May 12, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah. The family will receive friends at 12:00 pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah.
