Nelda Jones Daniels 85 passed away peacefully July 4th, 2011 with her daughter Paula by her side. After 32 years of separation she is now enjoying a wonderful reunion with her husband Lynn. She married Lynn Daniels on October 24, 1942 in Oakland, California and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for eternity on March 20, 1968. During her early years she enjoyed being a housewife and raising her family, after Lynn’s passing she worked at LDS Hospital for many years in the Snack Bar and after retirement enjoyed volunteering, driving the “Guest Express”. During her employment and volunteer years she was known as the “Rose Lady” because of the beautiful roses she provided for the Snack Bar and many patients. She had a true love for the outdoors and loved camping and hunting with her family. She loved to cook for her family, and was well known for her homemade candy. She enjoyed working in her beautiful yard that was adorned with many different kinds of flowers, but her roses were always her pride and joy. She loved all her dogs that she had throughout her life. She found great pleasure in her walks around the block with her friends and visiting with her neighbors. She loved to play all kinds of card games with her family and was an excellent player. She was an avid Jazz fan and enjoyed watching and attending games. Nelda was a faithful active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended the Grant 11th/ Gregson Ward for over 53 years and loved visiting teaching. She loved all the holidays, so it is only fitting she was born and passed away on holidays. But, her greatest love of all was her family and spending time with them. She has 24 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She spent the last two years living with her son Steve in Heber, we are grateful to Steve and Caren for the care they provided for her through this time. The family would like to thank Kristen and Yulya from IHC Hospice for all their dedicated care.
