Nancy June Amundsen Lunt

1935 ~2010

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, talented artist and devoted schoolteacher, Nancy June Amundsen Lunt, age 75, passed away December 9, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born in 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Norman K. Amundsen and Sarah Charlotte Graham. She graduated from East High School and Brigham Young University.

Nancy married Spencer McCune Lunt on June 9, 1958 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a member of the LDS Church.

She loved her grandchildren, painting, camping, traveling, canoeing, ice skating, especially ice dancing, loved to sing, play the piano, and take long rides.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Spencer McCune Lunt; children, David Kimo, Spencer Scott, Holly, and Bryan Christopher; a sister, Charlotte; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eugene Amundsen, and Howard Amundsen; and a sister, LaRue Ansell (Dale).

Services will be Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cottonwood 6th Ward, 4930 S. Westmoor Rd. A viewing will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary from 6:00-8:00 p.m. the night before and from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
