Marjorie Nona Smith

Marge was the 2nd child of six and she spent her childhood in Highland Park, California. She graduated from Franklin High School, Class of 1973.

Marge worked for the IRS for the past 30 years, and recently retired in April of 2019. She has been a resident of Ogden, Utah since 1977.

Marge is known for her beautiful needle work and giving to the homeless shelters and schools.

Marge enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and traveling. She loved to read about the history of World War II.

She loved going to concerts, her favorite was Neil Diamond and she could play the piano, organ, violin and the accordion.

She is survived by her father, Kenneth, siblings; Wanda Lamb, Dale and (Carol), Lois, Orville and (Linda).

Marge is the aunt to 11 nieces and 3 nephews, 18 great nieces, 18 great nephews and 3 great-great nephews.

Marge is preceded in death by her mother, Elva Jane, sister Launa and her son Roy L. Overbay Jr., great nephew Taylor Bailey and great niece, Liberty Smith.

The family wishes to thank Lennon Holland for all the help during this time and John and Caroline Lewis for being such great neighbors and helping her when she needed it the most.
