Jack was born on Dec. 12, 1926 in Salt Lake City to Samuel Willard Potts and Sarah Evelen Wilkinson Potts. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy (Fred) Taylor and many loving nephews and nieces.
Jack was a cheerful, active man whose life was one of love and service to others. As a very young man he lovingly cared for his ailing mother during the Great Depression.
He served his country in the Army as a part of the occupational forces in Japan at the end of World War II. After returning home he was employed until his retirement as a Nurses Assistant and Technician in the ICU unit at the Veterans Hospital where he was esteemed and loved by his colleagues and patients alike.
