Herbert R Stockman

He was born the oldest of 2 children to Herbert Gustav and Margaret Reid Stockman on May 2, 1936 in Salt Lake City.

He is an alumni of East High School and attended college at the University of Utah. He served an LDS mission to the Central States and later served as a medic for the Utah National Guard.

He married and later divorced Leanne Johnson with whom he has 6 loving children.

Herbert had a great passion for scouting and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed working with wood and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Janice Annette Tueller. He is survived by his children, Reed “Spike” (Diane Madsen), Shaun (Bonni), Regan (Brooke), Connin (Melissa), Analee, Sierra (Spencer Schumann), 23 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held for Herbert at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Kimball Ward, 2280 South 300 East, SLC, UT. Friends may visit with the family on Monday evening, December 28th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary and Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive, SLC, UT and at the Kimball Ward Chapel on Tuesday morning from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
