Our beautiful mother, Estella Ann Bennett Anderson Nelson, passed away of natural causes on May 30, 2022. Ann was born June 2, 1931 to Clifford C. Bennett and Dorothy C. Bennett. She was the fifth child of thirteen. She grew up in Lehi, Utah.
Annie was very active her entire life. She did everything from babysitting, church teacher, long distance track star (frequently running from Lehi to Provo and back for training). In high school, she was an operatic songbird, attaining lead performances.
Ann left Lehi to go the University of Utah nursing program. There she met and married Richard L. Anderson, MD. Together they had six beautiful children. Later divorced and subsequently married Keith L. Nelson.
She was an amazing seamstress, teaching her daughters to become stellar as well, and made many clothing items throughout her lifetime for those she loved. She had a great love for antique clothing, collected and restored entire wardrobes for antique car motoring. She was also the accountant for the Horseless Carriage Club of America, Utah regional group. Ann assisted in the 1980 HCCA national tour based in Park City. Her passion was raising dogs and no dog ever went unfed.
She was survived in death by her children, Kishmielle Gleave, Richard L. Anderson II, Robyn S. Anderson, Michelle K. Anderson, Pamela S. Crosby, and Micheal S. Anderson (Sonja); and siblings Robert C. Bennett (Linnea), Cheri E. Atkin (Ralph), Gregory R. Bennett (Ronda), and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
