Deborah passed away on August 25 after a lengthy battle with illness. She was born on April 6, 1960 in Yuma Arizona and spent her early years in Arizona. Her family moved to Casper Wyoming in 1968. Deborah had an active life with sports, honors cases, cheerleading and an around the world trip in 1975.
After graduating from Kelly Walsh High School in 1977, she worked for the GSA in Casper and Salt Lake City.
Deborah returned to school at the University of Utah, to complete her BA and Master’s degrees in Psychology. She enjoyed many years of helping others in both the public and private sectors.
Deborah loved to cook fabulous meals for friends and family. She had a zest for life and lit up any room with her presence. She always enjoyed music and travel, but her greatest joy was being a grandmother and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons Benjamin Doyle (Cyndee) of Sandy Utah and John “L.J.” Doyle of Cottonwood Heights Utah. Two grandchildren, Madelyn and Aiden Doyle. Her parents, Richard and Mary Hunnicutt, one brother Richard Hunnicutt III of Corpus Christi, Texas and one sister Linda Hunnicutt-Bicknell of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
A celebration of Deborah’s life will be held Friday August 29, 2014, at 8:00 pm at Koyo Restaurant, 2275 East 3300 South Salt Lake City. The family plans a private service at a later date.
